- Busy Mexican restaurant. The menu offers the usual Mexican fare, from ceviche to fajitas. They’ve got 1,444 reviews and a 4.5 rating on Google. People like it.
- Basic comfort food in the Best Western in Matamoras. It actually seems to be a decent place to grab a bite, which is odd for a country hotel’s restaurant, but, hey.
- Terrific baked empanadas by two talented ladies. Find them on King Street on Saturdays from 11:00 am – 6:00 pm.
- Bagels with lox, breakfast quiche, eggs benedict. Lobster salad croissant, salad with greens, walnuts, pears, bleu cheese. 2 decks, one overlooks the lake. Gift shop, too.
- Order app from list, go to the buffet and put a plate together. Chefs at the massive grill will cook your dish while you wait. Fun.
- Main Street, downtown Stroudsburg. Philly steaks, burgers, hoagies, stromboli, and beer. Full bar. Take-out or eat in. Beer to go.
- Latin home-style cooking and Colombian baked goods. Empanadas, guava bread, oxtail, seafood, Colombian coffee. Small, affordable, very good.
- Americanized version of Mexican food includes all the basics. Large vegetarian and kid’s menus. Try the guacamole.
- Informal lake area restaurant with deck. Breakfast, burgers, seafood, pasta, and crab dip. Kids menu. Extensive beer menu.
- Family-friendly ice cream stand serving burgers and fries. Hand-dipped and soft ice cream cones. Water ices, smoothies, sundaes, milkshakes, ice cream floats and sandwiches.
- Tutrone’s serves Manning Farm Dairy’s terrific ice cream. Shakes, soft and hard cones, sundaes, ices, floats, and Nathan’s hot dogs. Pup cups, too.

- Pay as you weigh fish market. Shrimp, scallops, salmon, lobster, crab legs, catfish, whiting, and red snapper. You can have it steamed or fried on the premises. They make meals to go!
