Barley Creek Brewing Co. is a microbrewery known for pub fare and a seasonal outdoor bar area with bocce, Wiffle ball, and horseshoes. Beer on tap includes IPAs, ales, wheats, stouts, and a hard cider. It gets very busy during the season. Bring Fido for outdoor dining.

Breakfast is known as “The Morning Toast” and is served daily from 8:00 am ’til 11:00 pm.

Barley Creek also offers a full menu of everything from burgers and wings to fresh seafood. “It’s an eclectic, Americana brewpub menu, everything from burgers to fish flown in from Hawaii. Steaks, chicken salads; we’ve got the vegetarians covered — basically, we have it all.” said Ruvane.

Along with the beer and food, entertainment is offered. An upper deck, called Pint-Sized Park, has a pavilion, wiffleball field, putting green, a couple of horseshoe pits, a life-size chessboard and a full stage and bar.

Free brewery tours, including tastings, take place daily at 12:30 p.m. Nearby you’ll find Big Pocono State Park and Camelback Mountain.

The Barley Creek Brewing Co. is located in Tannersville, right off exit 299 of Interstate 80.

You can also try their much smaller Barley Creek Tasting Room & Pub at The Crossings Premium Outlets, just across the highway.
