- Fab little cafe from the Magnolia people. Belgian waffles, matcha lattes. croissant sandwiches and quiche, and it’s all very good.
- Storefront West Indian restaurant for takeout. Oxtail, jerk chicken, curry goat. Low prices, home-style cooking. Call before you go to make sure they’re open.

- Breads and cakes are from NJ and NY, and they sell fresh meats, hams, sausages, Kabanos sausages, and bacon. Shipments of parcels by Polamer, and copies of Polish press.
- Open to the public. 18-holes, par 71, 6,500 yards. Cart included in green fees. Fairly inexpensive.
- If you’ve been to one Perkins, you’ve been to them all. As Perkins Restaurants go, this one is fine! Can get very crowded in season, especially on summer weekends.
- Bounce houses, climbing walls, Ninja Warrior obstacle course, welcoming vibe. Good for toddlers/ little kids. Cafe on premises with sandwiches, baked goods, and coffee.
- Terrific little Mexican and Latin American eatery with a full bar. Comfortable dining room, family-friendly, really good food. Drink specials.
- Dive bar with bar food in Mount Pocono. Slow service, throwback to old-time Poconos joint. Not recommended.
- Family owned and operated by folks from Brooklyn. NY-style pizza, hot sandwiches, calzones, pasta, & other eats. It’s okay. There are lots of other pizzerias around.
- 1875 hotel now a lodge with 11 bedrooms that sleeps 16. Hot tub, pool, grill, 2 ovens, 2 fridges. Centrally located. Bring Fido!

- This suite hotel’s strength is that it is centrally located and close to Kalahari, Camelback Mountain, and Great Wolf Lodge.
- Typical steakhouse just opened (Summer 2024) in Mount Pocono. Family owned and operated. Full bar, draft beer. At night their lounge opens.
- It’s home to Mount Airy Casino Resort and a ton of Airbnb and VBRO houses, which are great for a vacation that includes hiking, swimming, and picnicking in the area.
- Casual Italian-style steakhouse part of the Il Mulino NY micro-chain. It’s located in Mt. Airy Casino and open to the public.
- Trailer parked in Salvation Army parking lot is one of the hidden gems of the Poconos. Hot dogs, burgers, cheesesteaks, fries. Ridiculously low prices.
- Decent mid-sized Shop-Rite in the Mount Pocono Mall. Some prepared foods, roti-chicken, beer and wine.
- Breakfast all day, cheesesteaks, a catfish po boy, burgers, and bowls. Coffee and baked goods. Try the cinnamon crumb cake.
- Storefront strip-mall pizzeria. Pasta, hoagies, everything you expect from a pizza parlor. Bottled beer to drink with your pizza or to-go by the six-pack.
- Choose from the historic Kinkade House, a Ranch Suite, one of the cabins, or tent glamping. On-premises restaurant and bar is Water’s Edge.
- 9.6 on Booking.com, outstanding rating on Expedia, 5 stars on TripAdvisor; reviews are great. They must be doing something right!
