- Free, open to the public daily from 10 am to 8 pm. Well-equipped playgrounds for the kids are the feature. Mountain terrain, picnic tables, grills.

- 525-foot sand beach on Beltzville Lake. May to Sept. Concession, bathhouse, playground, picnic areas. Popular on the weekends, lots of people, loud music, and grilling going on. Get there early!

- Site of a number of cascade waterfalls along Dingmans Creek, best trail in the Delaware Water Gap for waterfall lovers.

- Mauch Chunk Lake is a 354-acre lake on Mauch Chunk Lake Park for swimming, picnicking, great fishing, and boating. Reserve a boat.
- 3 miles long and offers 5,700 acres and 52 miles of shoreline. Fish, swim, boat, camp, and hike at the 2nd largest lake contained in Pennsylvania.

- Sandy beach on 250-acre Gouldsboro Lake. Swimming, picnic tables with charcoal grills, swings for the kids. No lifeguard, swim at your own risk.
- Just south of Milford. Beach. Picnic areas, pavilion, restrooms, boat/canoe launch. Small, often very crowded. Best for boat launch, a quick dip, and a picnic. Access to McDade Trail.
- 159-acre park, forest, ponds, trails, bird colonies. Fish, camp, swim, hike. The paths are well-marked. Dog-friendly.
- Super pretty 1800s lake originally dammed to harvest ice. 223 acres, 5 miles from Pocono Pines. Hiking, boating, fishing. Really great.
- Impressive waterfall that is roughly 75 feet wide and 50 feet tall. Trails lead down the side of the falls as well as along the top of both sides of the ravine.
- Crystal-clear 170-acre lake on 5,440 acres of forested park. Boating, fishing, swimming, hiking, picnicking. Camping, snowmobiling, ice skating, ice fishing.
- Follow the trail loop that circumnavigates the lake and passes by bogs, evergreen forests, and a plethora of plant and animal life.
