Mount Nebo Regional Park is a 159-acre park that straddles a ridge between the Shawnee and Marshalls creeks. Hilly forests, small ponds, trails, and lush bird colonies are part of the experience. Great for hiking: Once beyond the parking lot, you can walk an hour or more without crossing the same trail again. Paths are well-marked.
Mount Nebo park also offers catch/release fishing for children and a campsite for overnight camping by groups (bring your own tents). You can make camping reservations through the Township office by calling (570) 223-5082.
