Pizzeria located in a strip mall in Matamoras. Full bar, menu of pizza and assorted pasta dishes. Customer reviews are spotty at best.
Korean-owned Japanese restaurant in a strip mall. Service is slow, fish is fresh, and food is tasty. Sushi and teriyaki. Inexpensive.
Small-town restaurant with big-city aspirations. Steaks, tuna tartare, salmon, fish and chips, and chicken penne are on the dinner menu. Daily specials.

Basic comfort food in the Best Western in Matamoras. It actually seems to be a decent place to grab a bite, which is odd for a country hotel’s restaurant, but, hey.
