Stewie’s

Stewie’s in Matamoras serves comfort food and burgers. The building is an original Stewart’s Root Beer, but this is an independent restaurant (though it carries Stewart’s sodas).

Stewie’s serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Breakfast includes Eggs Benedict, Belgian waffles, steak and eggs, and biscuits and gravy. The lunch menu offers a bunch of burgers, disco fries, and onion rings. They also serve melts, wraps, and quesadillas. Dinners include meatloaf, roast turkey, and fried shrimp. Try their homemade soups, pies, and baked goods. Daily specials and friendly service.

“You name it, they have it, banana cream, blueberry crumb, apple crumb. All sensational with amazing crusts. If you are near Stewies, stop and at least get a pie. Easy on and off interstate 84 on the way to or from NY. Food and service is swell.”
