The Original Bailey’s

The original Bailey’s Rib and Steak House has a menu of Angus steaks, prime rib, seafood, pastas, baby back ribs, pork chops, and burgers. Seafood includes shrimp, salmon, and crab cakes.

The place is very old-style and full of locals. Outside patio seating, kids menu.

Reviews of this place are extremely uneven. Locals love it, NYC, Philly and other people from cities in the Northeast are not particularly enthused. Okay, they hate it.

Last seating at 8 pm. If you want to spend a little more money, try Frogtown Chophouse, minutes away in Swiftwater. Another alternative nearby is the far better (yes, even this is better!) Longhorn Steakhouse in Bartonsville.

“Place has a nice rustic decor and is huge, service Is fast and friendly, but the food leaves much to be desired, everything is bland, with little to no spice, and all sauces taste like mayo, no matter what is is, chilli sauce, horse radish, etc… The prime rib had a naked rim, not one fleck of spice at all, it’s like they boiled it! The crab cake was dry and chewy tasted fresh out the microwave!”
