- Follow the trail loop that circumnavigates the lake and passes by bogs, evergreen forests, and a plethora of plant and animal life.

- The D & H Canal (Delaware & Hudson) Park at Lock 31 has 16 beautiful acres to explore. Daniels Farmhouse, D&H Canal, Canal Lock 31. Signs give a brief history of the site along the Lackawaxen River.
- Free, open to the public daily from 10 am to 8 pm. Well-equipped playgrounds for the kids are the feature. Mountain terrain, picnic tables, grills.
- 34-acre park on the banks of Brodhead Creek. Fishing, trail walking, picnicking. 2 pavilions are available. Bring Fido!
- Beautiful 600-acre wildlife sanctuary. 5 miles of well-maintained hiking trails for all ability levels. Cross-country-skiing.
- 400 acres of vernal pools, pristine streams, and rhododendron thickets in beautiful Barrett Township. Good for hiking and fishing.
- 8.5 miles of trails on top of Camelback Mountain. Picnic tables, panoramic vistas all the way to the Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area.
- 1.2-mile loop trail located near Greentown, good for all skill levels. Primarily used for hiking and walking and is best used from March until November. Dog-friendly.
- 100 scenic acres of forests and open space to explore. Fish in McMichaels Creek. Tube and kayak. Dogs are welcome.
- Perfect for a walk in the woods day. See uncommon wildflowers at this location in spring. Creek is suitable for kayaking.
- This peaceful 300-acre park of forest, meadows, and wetlands offers a picnic pavilion and well-marked, easy trails.
- 2nd highest waterfall in PA. Boardwalk trail, 2 waterfalls. Hemlock, rhododendron, birds, wildlife. Visitor center.
