Perched on a hillside with views over the village, The Harry Packer Mansion is a 2-minute walk from the Lehigh Gorge Scenic Railway.
The mansion is open for self-guided tours Saturday and Sunday from 1:00 to 4:30 pm at a cost of $5 per person.
Traditional rooms in the mansion and a carriage house come with WiFi, high-thread-count linens, and antique furnishings. Suites add sitting rooms, and some also have fireplaces and/or whirlpool tubs.
The model for Disney’s Haunted Mansion was a gift to Harry Packer from his father Asa, whose nearby mansion continues as a museum.
