Jim Thorpe Trolley Company is locally owned and operated. They provide a historical, narrated trolley tour – ride for a fully-narrated journey highlighting the history of the borough and the area’s abundance of natural beauty.
There’s a 70-minute live narrated tour of the town and its attractions. It’s hop-on, hop-off, which means that you can take your time, explore, and re-board as much as you’d like.
The summertime Wine & Shine Tasting Tour that stops at 2 vineyards and a distillery and includes tastings, and the Trolley Pub Dinner Tour.They also offer a local “Coal Cracker” tour.

“We decided to take a trolley tour instead of a rail tour and didn’t regret it. We went to both the Lehigh Gorge State Park and Mauch Chunk Lake, then across town to the Jim Thorpe Memorial. The guide was great. Well-behaved dogs are allowed as well. Highly recommended!”
