This charming café is located on the site of a former flower shop in the tiny town of Waymart. Menu items are crafted from fresh, natural, organic food that is free of artificial additives, preservatives, antibiotics, and hormones. Featuring organic/natural meats, dairy, seasonal produce and locally produced specialties from sustainable operations. Owner Laurie Perri’s specialty is gluten-free baked goods and desserts.
The Mustard Seed procures beef from Honesdale’s Fertile Valley Farm, artisanal bread is supplied by Beach Lake Bakery. Open for breakfast and lunch Tuesday through Friday, and for breakfast, lunch, and dinner on Saturday. Be aware: lines stretch down the block for Sunday brunch.
