Mel’s Place

Mel’s Place is a basic hole-in the wall dive bar that serves bar food, including wings, chicken and shrimp in the basket, Philly cheese steaks, hot dogs, burgers, and a meatball parm sandwich. They’re proud of their “restored 1950s brick-oven” and they make pizza, too. They’ve got a pool table.

“I would frequently visit this place when I worked at one of the surrounding camps each summer. Always respectful, Great place to unwind! Made friends with the bar tenders and a few locals. Pitchers of beer were cold, food was hot, no complaints. Thanks for the good times, thanks for the Yuenglings.”
