Rivers Edge

The Rivers Edge is a century-old hotel, restaurant, bar, and event venue in the town of Barryville in the Catskills region. “This place is amazing! The food is incredible. Hands down the best pork chop I’ve ever had. For lunch today I got the lobster roll which was honestly mind blowing. Definitely go for the hand cut fries. The share plates are fantastic, the fried zucchini is a highlight. And of course the oysters are choice. The cocktail menu is really well curated with an array of delicious,interesting and just plain fun options. I enjoyed the Endless Summer (Mezcal base) and the Moko Tiki (Rum of course.) The staff is very cool, and everyone has a distinctive vibe and style. They will make you feel like you’re part of the fam. All this in a really eclectically designed space that’s bright and comfortable. Couldn’t recommend Rivers Edge more. Definitely make it a destination if you’re coming through Barryville.”
