Festival Goers
- Old-fashioned week-long county fair held in the beginning of August. Rides, games, shows, exhibits, animals, food.
- Weekend festival in Sept. Bagpipes, step dancing, Irish bands. Irish food, petting zoo, dog herding exhibition.
- Small late-summer 100-year-old week-long fair in Newfoundland. Food, contests, midway, live music, beer tent. Demolition derby, tractor pull, farm animals.
- The West End Fair has been held in August since 1921. You’ll find rides, games, fair food, live bands, and a demolition derby.
- A 2-day fall event with 20 food trucks, art show, and art and sale. Live music, scenic chairlift ride. Free parking. 11 am ’til 5 pm.
- Mid-summer, annual festival brings world-class artists to the Pocono Mts. Cabaret, chamber music, choral, opera, jazz, pop, musical theater.
- Slope side seating, bring your own blankets and chairs. Gates at 7 pm, fireworks at dusk, around 9 pm. Food vendors on site.
- Annual 3-day end-of-summer festival celebrating Lake Wallenpaupack. 60+ events take place on the lake and in the cute small town of Hawley. Boat tours, free shuttle.
- Comedy shows, live music, food and craft beer festivals, wine festivals, and more on the site of the Woodstock Festival. The museum is open daily. Indoor and outdoor shows.
- Labor Day hardneck garlic harvest fest. 60 food & craft vendors. Live music, demos, kids’ activities, Garlic Eating Contest.
- They aim to “advance the traditional art of storytelling by showing the newest and best independent films from around the world and in their own backyard.”
- Old-fashioned small-town carnival since 1926. Local fire department hosts in July of each year. Rides, live music, raffles, food concessions, games, bingo. Admission is free.
