This upstate New York cabin is a quick 2.5-hour drive from NYC and is located in the Catskills, just over the Delaware River from the Pocono Mountains.

You’ll find a BBQ grill on the deck and stepping stones leading you to the floating deck complete with romantic string lights, an outdoor dining table, and a hot tub. Even on a cold January night, the hot tub is a nice treat and the perfect place to unwind. There’s also a private fire pit area—cue the s’mores.

The primary bedroom’s vibe is cool and comfortable with wooden panels, room-darkening curtains, a unique standing mirror, and a TV. I was grateful to see the convenient luggage rack (a personal pet peeve of mine is putting suitcases or duffel bags on top of the clean bed.) The en-suite bathroom is extremely modern with sleek black finishes, a circular mirror, a rain shower, and flattering lighting.

The second bedroom features a boho design and a bright bay window that almost made me choose this room over the primary. The third bedroom is ideal for kids—it has a twin bed with a trundle. The cabin’s set-up offers privacy between the master bedroom and the others, making this place a nice option for two couples or a family.

The Airbnb isn’t far from local shops and restaurants in Narrowsburg if you’re looking to explore.

“We came to visit for a quick getaway! First off… the stars, absolutely stunning. My camera quality is terrible & I was able to get a good picture of some constellations. The nature & peace surrounding the cabin was well worth the trip. We loved the hot tub, the pond & the firepit. Now the cabin.. I can’t stress enough how much effort is put into making this a cozy & clean place to stay. We felt so comfortable & welcomed.
