Hickory Run State Park Campground

The campground in the 16,000-acre Hickory Run State Park features more than 300 tent, trailer, and RV sites, a few walk-in sites, and camping cottages. Some campsites are ADA accessible. The Shades of Death and Beach trails are accessible right from the campground.

Sand Springs Lake has a beach with adjacent disc golf and a picnic area.

Hickory Run State Park Campground has 127 sites with hookups (15 full hookups). Group camping and cottages are also available. Campsite rates (in 2019) range from $15–$40/night; cabins and cottages range from $38–$105/night.

This large tent and trailer campground has modern restrooms with flush toilets and hot showers, a dump station, and a camp store. Firewood, ice, and supplies are available at the camp store.

The restroom facilities and dump station are open from April through October. All facilities with running water close at the end of October, but rustic camping continues until mid-December. Each campsite has a table, fire ring, and grill.
