Little Lake Barn hosts 4 guests in 2 bedrooms with 4 beds and 1 bath in Paupackan Lake Estates, a private community just north of Lake Wallenpaupack.

It’s only a 15 min drive from Lake Wallenpaupack, and it’s close to quaint little towns, state forests, antique stores, and local markets.

Inside, the fireplace fills the cabin with coziness and warmth. Features and amenities include ceiling fans, electric baseboard heaters in every room, Internet/Wi-Fi, a record player with a record collection, board games, a fully stocked kitchen, linens and towels, a pre-packed beach bag with beach towels and lawn chairs, comfortable beds, and modern furniture.

Small families with young children will find a Pack ’n Play, a high chair, children’s dinnerware, baby safety gates, and children’s books and toys.

There is no TV but there is a projector with Roku, and the internet is fast enough to stream on your laptop.

Inside the community, you’re just a 15-minute walk from the closest dock where you can take out the 14-foot canoe to fish and paddle around the beautiful 230-acre lake. This glacial lake is one of the cleanest ones you’ll find in Northeast Pennsylvania.

The design is a cozy mix of mid mod & rustic, with all sorts is sweet touches for guests (games! boats! Nintendo! Oh my!) The location is darling – the lake is quiet and picturesque, near a number of cute towns where Caitlin provides some great recommendations for your visit.
