It’s an historic property with timeless elegance, nestled into a wooded mountainside with sweeping views of the Delaware River Valley. The fully renovated farmhouse and cottage date to the mid-1800s. Guests enjoy total solitude on the secluded acreage, yet the farm is only 10 minutes away from Interstate 84 and from historic Milford. Easy New York City access via train, bus, or car (90 minutes.to the George Washington Bridge/Lincoln Tunnel).
The farmhouse has four bedrooms, three bathrooms, four stone fireplaces, a fully equipped kitchen, numerous common spaces (one of which converts to an accessible fifth bedroom), and a wraparound porch. Nearly every room enjoys panoramic mountain & forest views.
The sweet and included cottage has a loft suite up a spiral staircase, 1.5 bathrooms, a kitchenette, a living room with an electric fireplace and a sofa bed, and a small patio.
Immediately outside these lodgings lie the 20,000 gallon in-ground pool (open May-September; unheated), a 6-person hot tub (open year-round), and a fire ring. Each overlooks the view of the Delaware River Valley and Kittatinny Mountains beyond. Surrounding this homestead are 193 acres of privately owned forested mountainside. Guests enjoy exclusive access to this pristine woodland, complete with three marked trails of varying difficulty that beckon to nature lovers of all kinds!

Both the house and the surrounding property are absolutely stunning and allow for ample opportunities to be all together at the long dining table or two big couches – or split off into smaller groups – be it in the hot tub, kitchen, deck, or playing board games. We loved learning about the history of the home and were impressed by the modern updates that still preserved its character.
