Sylvan Ridge Farm

Sylvan Ridge Farm is an absolutely gorgeous historic property nestled into a wooded mountainside overlooking the Delaware River Valley. Their mid-19th century farmhouse, cottage, and event barn have been revitalized with design insights from renowned architect Peter Bohlin and the meticulous skill of Pennsylvania Amish craftsmen to create a truly unique gathering place.

Guests enjoy total solitude on the secluded 193 acres, yet the farm is only 10 minutes away from Interstate 84, historic Milford, with easy access from New York City via train, bus, or car.

Their event barn echoes this landscape with its Brazilian hardwood timbers and fieldstone fireplace, inviting nature in through huge sliding doors and a full wall of windows.

They will provide you with top-notch event coordination and connections to proven vendors, but you also have the flexibility to keep things DIY and/or work with vendors you already love.

Opt for a tree-shaded courtyard or sweeping lawn, with a covered patio or barn as rainy-day backups.

Gorgeous tiger wood bars on both floors have sinks, ice makers, and drink coolers built-in, and there are also large fridges for catering use in the bar storage room on the lower level.

Do you prefer traditional fine dining? Wonderful. Want a country barbecue? Go for it! Thinking about food trucks? Why not!? And outside of catering and bartending (professionals only, please) you can go as DIY as you like.

Sylvan Ridge Farm can also accommodate up to 15 overnight guests in the farmhouse and cottage. The farmhouse has space for 11, and the cottage can sleep four, though many couples choose to keep the entire cottage for themselves on their wedding night. You can have your ceremony on-site, or do it off-site and only use Sylvan Ridge Farm for your reception.
