Bear Pause Retreat in Lake Ariel’s gated community The Hideout hosts 7 guests in 2 bedrooms with 6 beds and 2 baths in log cabin charm – cozy, modern , well-kept, and absolutely beautiful. The cabin is a short walk to the lake.

You can have some fun creating your own culinary masterpieces with the extra-large, brand new propane/charcoal grill (propane provided) – or gourmet kitchen. At night, there is both an outdoor fire pit or an indoor gas fireplace to enjoy.

The Hideout is one of the best-equipped resort communities in the Pocono Mountains, with lakes, beaches, golf courses, and more.

Lake Ariel’s boat launch (which allows motorized boats) is a short walk away (about a 3 minute drive) or, if you prefer, Lake Wallenpaupack is less than 10 minutes away – so bring your boat (or rent one there!).

The rental comes with amenity badges for use during your stay.
