Fat Mikey’s Cheese Steaks caters to East Stroudsburg University students with cheesesteaks, chicken parm sandwiches, loaded fries, and the like. Hand-cut fries, onion rings, mac ‘n cheese.

Fat Mikey’s Cheese Steaks owner Jelani ”Lani” Douglas also runs Lani’s Grilled Cheese Shop and co-owns 308 Burger Company.

“The best Philly cheesesteak I’ve ever had. An order of cheese fries with bacon is large enough for 2 people to share. And they bring your food to your table when it’s ready. A nice touch in terms of customer service. In a neighborhood with little parking but the restaurant was smart enough to add a small parking lot on the back side of the restaurant. There is also a door on the back side to enter. Tip jar on the counter; don’t forget to bless it. Those guys deserve it.”
