Moc-a-Tek Lakefront Cottage

This private Moc-a-Tek Lakefront cottage is the perfect getaway for couples, friends, and families. It’s got 2 bedrooms with 3 beds and 1 bathroom and hosts up to 6 guests. It’s a very basic cottage but it has most of the stuff you need. Stay for a few nights or an entire week, enjoy some relaxation, go fishing, kayaking, take the rowboat out, or spend the evenings around the fire pit.

Lake Moc-a-Tek is a non-power boat lake. A small row boat and a kayak is provided for you. This is a fisherman’s getaway that’s great for small and largemouth bass, bluegills, sunnies, crappies, perch, pickerel, and bullheads. Swimming is not recommended.

There’s a Smart TV and you can access your channels with the internet.

A mile as the crow flies you’ll find Lake Wallenpaupack and it’s less than 10 minutes to the public beach area. There are several marinas nearby for boat or jet ski rentals for use on Lake Wallenpaupack.

It’s 7 miles from Hawley, so find your groceries and other Essentials there.

“We had a wonderful stay at this cute quiet cottage in the woods. The house was clean with all the necessities. Having lake access was really nice even if we were completely inept at using the rowboat. Sitting around the firepit by the dock was awesome. We didn’t mind the location because we like the quiet, but it’s about a 15-minute drive to Hawley and lake activities.”
