Swim at the beach, fish from your private dock, or take advantage of the rowboat and kayaks to navigate the lake. If you prefer a more relaxing stay, settle into a lounge chair at the lake’s edge and read a book, bird watch, or share stories around the fire pit while the sun sets.

You’ve got a deck overlooking the lake and a screened-in porch. There’s a patio with a fire pit on the lakeshore.

Wallenpaupack Lake Estates includes 2 outdoor pools, 1 indoor pool with a sauna, lakefront beaches, a game room for kids, snack bar, tennis, volleyball, skate park, marina, gym, and many seasonal activities geared toward families.

You can fish the lake from the shoreline, and yes, you will need a fishing license.

“This was our second time staying at the Bruno’s house. We really enjoy the comfy house and the property that is right on the lake in a quiet community. Great lake views from the kitchen and family room space, plus deck and patio. They supply wood for use with the outdoor fire pit and wood stove. As a guest in the community, you have access to Lake Wallenpaupack, which isn’t far from the house. There are hiking opportunities nearby and it is a short drive to Hawley and Honesdale.
