The Brookside Lodges are nestled in the picturesque Pocono Mountains on a private 400-acre estate. These rustic and charming cabins overlook a beautiful brook with trails to the Lehigh River Gorge.
Two rustic cabins named “The Ferns” and “Brookside” are next to 40,000 acres of state parkland.
Cabins offer 3 bedrooms and 2 baths with spacious open ceilings and covered private porches on both levels. There are numerous fireplaces and fully equipped kitchens. The master suite contains a king-sized bed; the other bedroom has a queen, and there is also a bunk bed featuring a full bottom and twin top in a private room with bathroom. Each cabin is stocked with board games for fun family evenings.
You can bike on miles of trails and hike down to the 60-foot waterfall and the Lehigh River. You’re just minutes from whitewater rafting. You can fish in Brookside’s ponds, swim in the pool, or just relax in the silence. The Brookside Lodges property offers seven miles of private, manicured, wooded trails, ideal for ATVing and snowmobiling.
Each cabin has a bonfire area, and there is another bonfire area located close to the swimming pond.
For the more adventurous there is a zip line, a rope swing, and a giant slip-and-slide to the spring-fed pond located across from the cabins. There is also a rowboat, a kayak, floating tubes, and rafts if you just want to relax a little and float around. Enjoy mountain biking, ATV riding, and snowmobiling on their 8 miles of private trails. Endless activities are available no matter what the season.
The owners live on the property and will help make your stay as comfortable and exciting as possible. If you want a tour of the estate and hiking trails on ATV, they are here to help. They provide bikes and fishing equipment.
They also have Deer Meadows, a 3500ft private airstrip, and a helicopter pad down by the cabins. Beat the city traffic and fly yourself here!
“Our stay at the Brookside Lodge was idyllic. The lodge is nestled right in the woods, with the sounds of the brook as the perfect backdrop. There is a trail right in the backyard running along the brook that leads to a waterfall and another trail along the Lehigh river. While there are other great trails and activities nearby, we didn’t end up driving anywhere because the place had everything we were looking for. The hosts were kind and welcoming and made us feel right at home. Before the weekend was over we were already talking about and planning our next trip back!”
