Blue Mountain Lake Club is part of a community recognized for its excellence as a Gold Star Community by the Pennsylvania and Delaware Valley Chapter of Community Associations Institute (CAI).
It offers amenities that include a pool, a lake, and recreational basketball and tennis courts.
The community accommodates a woodsy, country-living lifestyle, embodying the spirit of the natural Pocono Mountains habitat all year long. The carefully laid-out residences are inviting and promote more social interaction between members, create warm and friendly engagement, and allow for seclusion when desired.
Blue Mountain Lake Club was a boys and girls Jewish camp since the 1920s. It was converted to today’s community in 1980.
But the most prominent remnant of the camps is the large fireplace in the gazebo. This fireplace was originally part of the original boys camp lodge, located on the opposite side of the lake. As the camp closed and prepared for development, the fireplace was moved to its current location so that the bit of camp could be enjoyed today.
It’s private and refined, but still offers Airbnb listings.
