The Rockland House

The Rockland House boasts the largest salad bar in the area, complete with fresh produce and delicious homemade soups and breads. The Rockland House is famous for serving it’s mouth watering Prime Rib, steaks, seafood, including locally raised Beaverkill Brook Trout.

They are known for mouth watering Prime Rib, their large salad bar, and homemade soups. They always have daily specials ranging from Cowboy & Flat Iron steaks to Salmon & Crab Cakes and other fish specials. All dinners come with the soup and salad bar.

The restaurant hasn’t been updated in the past 25+ years. The dishes even seem the same. The staff are friendly.

“We just had our first meal here. We had the duck a l’orange and Delmonico. Half a duck, cooked perfectly with sauce that covered the bottom of the plate, and was just orange velvet. The steak, thick, and covered the dinner plate. Perfectly cooked rare. baked potatoes, excellent, salad bar, again, excellent and fresh. We both had mixed drinks. The meal was amazing, I can’t say enough, but then, sticker shock…$59 bucks. How can they serve such wonderful food at such a fantastic price? The service was also excellent. Wow, I am very happy I found you, especially since we just bought a place down the road. Thank you!”
