Willowemoc Creek

Willowemoc Creek is a tributary of Beaver Kill. It is a popular trout fishing stream near the Catskill Park in Sullivan County.

The Willowemoc Creek is a tributary to the Beaver Kill, and shares much of the Beaver Kill’s history as the birthplace of American fly fishing. Wild brown trout are present throughout, although the proportion of wild trout tends to be higher in the more upstream parts of the system where summer temperatures remain colder.

The creek is stocked annually with over 18,000 brown trout. The Little Beaver Kill is stocked annually with over 2,000 brown trout.
