Amber Lake Chalet is a Catskills log cabin lakehouse that hosts 6 guests in 3 bedrooms with 3 beds and 2 baths in 1,700 square feet. It’s on Amber Lake, just 10 minutes from the quaint-turned-trendy town of Livingston Manor, and a 2 hour drive from the George Washington Bridge. It’s been named an Airbnb ‘Guest Favorite’ and rated in their ‘Top 5% of Homes’ since 2013.

This home is perfect for hosting friends, a family vacation, or a romantic getaway. Enjoy private lake-front access, go hiking on private trails, and enjoy a crackling fireplace in winter.

Wake up in the primary bedroom and step out to a private deck overlooking the lake. Perfect spot to relax with your morning coffee, or star gaze at night.

Lake is open access and private. There are no lifeguards on duty. Do not swim alone and children should be supervised. Life vests (adult and child sizes) are available for use in the garage.

It’s got a lovely deck with Adirondack chairs, an oudoor shower, and best of all, you can bring Fido!

“I must say that Amber Lake Chalet is an excellent escape from the city. Love that it was pet-friendly, fully-stocked, and had such a cute vibe. The bed was super comfortable, and being inside the house felt like being inside the woods, but with all the amenities you need! The lake was also beautiful. I walked to it every morning with coffee (they have a Nespresso machine!), and did my morning meditation there – so zen!

I was able to work from home here with a beautiful office set-up for me on the loft, over looking the living room. Internet was fast, and the second monitor that the host left was clutch.

This is my second time staying in Livingston Manor, and I just love the area. Great restaurants and shops and fun breweries. When I wasn’t working, I was just relaxing by the fireplace – it was a truly relaxing experience. A perfect recharge for me!
