Bradys Lake is a super pretty fishing pond, man-made from an 1800s reservoir that was originally dammed to harvest ice. Today it’s a 223-acre fishing and boating pond at 1700′ elevation. It’s located just 5.5 miles from Pocono Pines, 3 miles off 940, in the middle of the woods–a great place for hiking, kayaking, and fishing.
Brady’s Lake Big Loop, or Dam Loop, is a 4 or 5 (nobody agrees) mile moderately trafficked loop trail that’s good for all skill levels. You’ll see wildlife. Bring bug spray, and bring Fido!
Anglers can expect to catch a variety of fish including bluegill, largemouth and smallmouth bass, yellow perch, and pumpkinseed.
You’ll find a parking lot about 3 miles down a dirt road. Need a vacation fishing license? Here’s how to get yours.
