Whitewater Rafting Adventures

Whitewater Rafting Adventures is an outfit for rafting trips on class 2 & 3 rapids on the Lehigh River. They’ve also got paintball, kayaking, and bike rides. Located just a short drive from the historic town of Jim Thorpe, Whitewater Rafting Adventures has been offering outdoor adventures, taking advantage of everything that the Lehigh River has to offer, for 40 years.

You can raft class II and III rapids on the Lehigh River, take a leap of faith off of a 900 ft long zipline, have an adrenaline-pumping paintball shootout, or enjoy a bike ride along the Lehigh Gorge Trail.

On a river trip, you’re provided with knowledgeable and talented river guides, commercial-grade rafts, life jackets, paddles, bailing buckets, a waterproof lunch container, a free shuttle both to and from the river, free parking (buses are welcome), modern facilities including a cafe, a well-stocked store, heated changing rooms, and hot showers.

You can choose a 26 or 13-mile self-guided biking tour of amazing mountain scenery that winds its way along the Lehigh River. Cool off at the water’s edge if you get hot. Bring a lunch and enjoy a picnic at one of the many rest stations along the trail. Relax and enjoy the natural beauty of the endless thickets of mountain laurel and listen to the sounds of the Lehigh River rushing past. Bring along a pair of binoculars; you never know what wildlife you may see. Rent a bike, or bring your own, and experience the Lehigh Gorge Trail.
