Peaceful Woodlands Family Campground

Peaceful Woodlands Family Campground sits on 55 truly beautiful (yes, peaceful and wooded) acres and offers 182 sites for RVs, tents, and cabins. Perfect for ATVs and Pocono Raceway fans. The campground has access to ATV trails and is 2 miles from Pocono Raceway.

The site gets busy during Nascar Weekend and other race days since it’s located down the road from Pocono Raceway in Long Pond.

Most sites are surrounded by a small grove of trees. The campground sits at the base of the Dixon Miller Recreation Area which is a) part of the Delaware State Forest, b) one of the highest accessible points overlooking the Pocono Plateau, and c) has 13 miles of trails for ATV off-roading.

The Rustic Cabins sleep up to 6 people with 1 double bed and 2 bunk beds. The cabins have electricity inside, and water outside, so grab your tin cups, you Daniel Boones. Each has a refrigerator, a microwave, and a ceiling fan. Bring your own linens and cookware. You can grill on the fire ring on your site and enjoy your meal at your own picnic table. The Deluxe Cabins are different in that they sleep 4 with 1 double bed and 1 bunk bed and have heating and cooling.

Bring your RV, tent, or pop-up, or rent a camper directly from Peaceful Woodlands. The Squirrel’s Nest is a group camping site with water and electric hook-ups, picnic tables, a communal fire ring.

As truly peaceful as this campground is, there is still plenty to do. The location gives direct access to ATV trails and hiking trails, there are 2 playgrounds, a large playing field for lawn games, miniature golf, a rec hall, and music festival weekends. The heated pool and kiddie pool will keep you cool. Pet-friendly and all-around friendly to all kinds of people.
