The Little Black Cabin

The LBC sits on almost 2.5 acres of wooded land with a gentle slope. Nestled in amongst a canopy of oak, pine, and sassafras trees with an understory of mountain laurel and wild blueberry you will feel a sense of peace and connection to nature.

The LBC’s interior includes a small kitchen and dining area, a super comfortable living room with a 16 foot pine ceiling and wood-burning stove, and two cozy bedrooms. The tiled bathroom has radiant-floor heating, wood walls, and hand-made Italian tile bath surround.

For the little ones, there’s a high chair, a Pack ‘n Play, and children’s books and toys for ages 2 -5.

There is an outdoor sauna and cold plunge. A fire pit and wood to burn is available all year. Come and stay and experience the beauty, nature and craft of the LBC and surrounding area.

“Every corner of the little black cabin is perfect for pictures. It is very welcoming and we had an amazing time. The place is really good for a break from city work life.
