New Munson Diner: The OG Munson Diner’s original home was on West 49th Street and 11th Avenue in New York City. Opened in the mid-1940s, the diner would host all sorts of clientele in its heyday from mobsters to the working class, and society’s elite, according to the New York Times. The publication named it as a place where “men and women in evening dress swap jokes with men in overalls.”

They serve the usual diner fare with a bunch of Greek dishes. Great breakfasts and lunch. Enjoy a slice of pie or a milkshake at the counter.
“This is a real Greek diner with a real diner menu, including a Greek food section. To make it even more authentic, there is a case of assorted baked goods (huge cake slices, pies, parfaits and puddings). This place reminds me of my early life in NJ where Greek diners had the best food and nobody left hungry.”
