Paupackan Lake is a 252-acre non-powerboat lake that has great fishing, just north of Lake Wallenpaupack. It’s private, peaceful, family-oriented, and clean. It is the center of the lovely Paupackan Lake Estates, 10 miles from the town of Hawley.
It’s got great swimming from its white sand beach. Bring your kayaks, canoes, and rowboats.
The most popular species caught here are largemouth bass, bluegill, and chain pickerel. Be sure to have your fishing license at the ready!
Paupackan Lake is rather shallow and only gets deep right in the middle. It’s under 10 feet the majority of the time. That’s probably why there are no gas outboard motors, so it’s a very peaceful fishing experience.
