Splinters Hatchet & Axe Throwing is the place to be the best lumberjack you can be. The atmosphere is “rustic farmhouse backyard family picnic.” Stop in and rent a lane. Laid-back and friendly. Most games take about an hour. They’ve got 13 lanes!
Bring your own booze, food, and buddies. Need we say more?
Ax throwing, a mainstay in Europe and Canada, is one of the oldest competitive games. Its origin in the States can be traced back to the logger sports of the 40s and 50s when lumberjack shows grew in lumber camps to see who the best lumberjack was.
They also have a private room that holds up to 30 people and contains 3 of the lanes.
On weekend evenings they often are near capacity or at capacity, so they suggest you check online or contact them and they will reserve a space for you.
Comfortable clothing is suggested. No opened-toed shoes are allowed. Splinters is BYOB (no hard liquor) and BYOF. Nothing hard; throwing straight is already hard enough. Bring your grub and enjoy it on one of the main room’s tables. Take out or pre-packed food only.
They have a covered two-lane mobile hatchet throwing unit. It’s ready to be towed to your indoor or outdoor venue. Once parked, hatchets can be flying, in less than 10 minutes. They bring everything from instructors and equipment to lights and music,
“This experience was definitely worth 5 stars! I came here for some fun on my birthday and it did not disappoint! The owner Shane was so knowledgeable and helpful. Not only was he a great teacher of technique, he even went into detail about the axes being used and the type of wood that the axes are thrown onto. The pricing was great and the bathrooms were super clean! Loved my time here and we will be visiting again!!!”
