The Lake Store Promised Land

The Lake Store Promised Land has exactly what you need for where you are. It’s open in season and closed in the winter. The market has necessities, an ATM, a deli counter, tackle, camping supplies (for when you forgot your propane, percolator, or rope), and coffee (to hold you over until you put said propane and percolator to use).

Friendly, helpful staff. Good sandwiches. Have an ice cream cone with your worms and fishing gear. What else can we say? It’s where you are, and it’s the only one.

“For some reason, I love this little old shop and we bike there once or twice a day while staying in the park. We have bought a lot of our fishing stuff and camping supplies here. We bought some cheap aluminum cooking stuff at a big box store one summer only to go buy the cast iron stuff here and it was worth it. They also have good sandwiches and everything that you forgot while packing and is a good place to stop for an ice cream cone. The staff is friendly, helpful and I can’t wait to say hi to them tomorrow for the first of many camping trips in the area this summer.”
