Jim Thorpe Camping Resort

Jim Thorpe Camping Resort is a family-owned and operated campground with 200 camping sites available from April through October. The season really kicks off on Memorial Day weekend when they open the pool, offer wine and cheese tastings (juice and cookies for the kids), a DJ, hayrides, and more.

Twice during the season, there is a wine tasting event. Rather civilized, really. Of course, they are pet-friendly.

At Jim Thorpe Camping Resort you’ll choose from no-hookup tent or small pop-up sites, basic tent sites with no hook-ups, one-room camping cabins, two-room family cabins (families only, no groups), and full hook-up RV, Trailer, and 5th Wheel sites.

Enjoy excellent swimming and fishing. Take the wooden bridge from the campground that spans Mauch Chunk Creek to the Switchback Trail for biking or walking around Mauch Chunk Lake Park. Lots of planned group and family activities while you stay.
