The Red Rose Motel is a 1938 classic Catskills roadside motel located along the banks of the Beaverkill River that’s been welcomed fly-fishers, thirsty neighbors, and city escapees ever since.
The guest rooms feature a rustic décor with curated antiques and collectibles that capture the history and ambience of a bygone era when fishermen, hunters, and folks escaping the city for a country respite made The Red Rose a local landmark.
While the décor reflects a nod to the past, the rooms have been renovated with an attention to detail designed to make an overnight stay a truly comfortable experience.
Each of the guest rooms features a queen bed and a private bath. They offer a continental breakfast of fruit, pastries, and Keurig coffee service in the lounge from 8 – 11. Each room features bedding, pillows and towels from Brooklinen, Bed frames are made from 100-year old barn wood by the artisans at Nightwood. Bath soaps and accessories are from Public Goods. There is a top-of-the-line white noise machine in each room. There’s a 3 dog-friendly room available (the pet fee is $30 per stay).
There is an innkeeper onsite at all times. The phone number is provided on the welcome sheet in your guest room.
Friday through Sunday, enjoy their Red Rose Tavern for eating by the fire, in their lounge, outdoors, or get takeout. It’s open Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
The town of Roscoe has been known internationally for decades as Trout Town, USA. It’s home to five of America’s top trout streams as well as numerous pristine lakes and plentiful reservoirs, making it an angler’s paradise.
