The Pump House Inn

The Pump House has been a part of the Poconos since before the Civil War. The main house was built as a farmhouse in 1842. The front entryway, the front sitting room, and the bar were all a part of the original farmhouse. The unique stone floors are still a featured part of the property. The three-story main house boasts an impressive ten bedrooms (two king-sized bedrooms with private baths, two queen bedrooms with private baths, and six queen bedrooms) and nine bathrooms (six full and 3 half baths). The main house also comes complete with a restored library/office with the perfect zoom background if you are working remotely, a full and spacious kitchen, a grand dining room that feels like it would be at home in Mount Vernon, a sitting room complete with gas and wood-burning fireplaces, a living room with a pool table, wood stove, smart projector with 150-inch screen for movie night, a stone waterfall, laundry room with washer and drier, a music loft with a record player, and a formal sitting parlor which lends a feel of old-world grandeur.

The guest house has four king sized suites, smart TVs, record players, mini-fridge, full bathroom, and separate entrances.

Inside, you have a boxing gym with a heavy bag and a gym with 2 fan bikes and back training equipment. There’s a ping pong table in the terrace and a small hot tub.

For a change of pace, you’ll find Skytop Lodge, with its plethora of activities and restaurants, less than 2 miles up the hill.
