The Rex is a 10-unit boutique micro-hotel is located in at the highest elevation of the Pocono Mountains, steps away from the unspoiled wilderness of Promised Land State Park. The Rex has got keyless doors and TVs and fire pits and hiking trails, everything you need, right at the door to the trailhead of Promised Land State Park.

The Rex provides guests with premium accommodations. Amenities include private natural cedar hot tubs and kitchens with Italian appliances. Each room hosts furniture from Joybird, mattresses from Birch, and linens, towels, and robes from Brooklinen. Retro-inspired kitchen appliances are from Smeg and all rugs are from Ruggable.

Every unit at The Rex has a private front entrance and back door, so you can come and go as you please. You’ll receive emails prior to arrival with your entry code as well as text messages throughout your stay from a concierge who uncannily anticipates your next question. Not sure how to operate the outdoor hot tub? Just text, and they’ll send you a how-to right away. You won’t miss the personal interaction with a front-desk staff — in fact, the experience is so socially distanced, you can make it the entire weekend without seeing a soul.
Each room is unique in size, layout, and design. All rooms have access to their own outdoor space and Solo Stove to roast marshmallows for the mandatory s’mores.
