Getaway Chalet

The Getaway Chalet is located in in the beautiful community of Big Bass Lake, situated on a quiet cul-de-sac on over half an acre of pristine nature. It hosts up to 12 guests in 4 bedrooms with 7 beds and 3 baths. It is as stylish as it is cozy and can offer endless fun or relaxing comfort.

The enormous wraparound deck boasts a gas grill, an outdoor sectional, a 5-person hot tub, and two outdoor dining tables. (One of them is screened in.) There’s a game room on the ground floor with air hockey and a pool table along with a group of arcade games, including Pac-Man.

Take in the great outdoors while roasting s’mores & telling ghost stories at the fire pit, or head inside to the spacious game room. There’s a Peloton bike, too!

The dining table seats 8 and there’s a four-seat breakfast bar.

The Getaway Chalet is a short 2 hour drive from both NYC and Philly. It is located within an award-winning, amenity-rich Gold Star Certified community in close proximity to the area’s main attractions.

Whether it’s hiking, biking, skiing, swimming, fishing, rafting, racing, or water parks that bring you, the Getaway Chalet is the perfect home base to explore the region.

Big Bass Lake offers three lakes, two of which are complete with sandy beaches. There are picnic and playground facilities. There are tennis, basketball, and volleyball courts. There’s a marina, a ski hill with a T-bar pull, a tubing hill, an indoor and outdoor pool, a dry sauna, and a clubhouse.

“If I could give this place 10 stars, I would! Every positive comment and beautiful photo you see is 100% aligned with what we experienced. In our group, there were 3 families including 5 children, ranging in age from 1-4 and there was something in the home for everyone. The children’s room was the highlight for the little ones. From the moment we entered they were sliding and playing on the bunk beds. In the evenings once they were asleep, the parents gathered for games in the upstairs loft. We all had such a wonderful time. Besides the home, Barbara’s level of hospitality was top tier. She went above and beyond for us, from setting up Happy Birthday decor to providing recommendations on the best places to explore. She was extremely friendly and accommodating. We couldn’t have asked for anything more. We are already planning for next year. Book this place. You won’t regret it!”
