Big Bass Lake

Big Bass Lake is a well-maintained and gated 1,900-acre community filled with amenities. It’s just south of Lake Wallenpaupack. It’s 2 hours from Philly and NYC with lots of Airbnb and VRBO rentals. You can see a bunch of them here.

The community offers three lakes, two of which are complete with sandy beaches. There are picnic and playground facilities. There are tennis, basketball, and volleyball courts. There’s a marina, a ski hill with a T-bar pull, a tubing hill, an indoor and outdoor pool, a dry sauna, and a clubhouse.

The community hosts things like fishing derbies and ice cream socials.

Vacation house renters can partake. Guests have the option to purchase daily, weekly, or weekend passes to use all of the Big Bass amenities. This includes the beach, gym, and indoor and outdoor pools. In 2023, a daily pass is $8, a weekly pass is $30, and a weekend daily pass is $10.

Gouldsboro State Park is close by.
