The Nothstein Preserve in Cresco spans 150 acres of pristine Pocono forests, crystal-clear streams, and a plunging gorge. Paradise Township maintains the property and its trails.
The preserve is home to 3.4 miles of trails. A challenging hike of up to 3 miles with varied terrain – including a ravine. High water levels on Cranberry Creek might change your route; there is only one bridge crossing. There are four loops, cleared and blazed by the township.
Over 100 acres with hunting and wild trout catch and release fishing and 3.4 miles of wilderness trails.
Park at the kiosk on Cranberry Creek road, then walk through the Nothstein Preserve to arrive at the PHLT preserve to the west, which is 424 Cranberry Creek Road.
