Sunny Rest Resort

Sunny Rest Resort has been “Partying Naked Since 1945.” It’s a “clothing optional resort”, which is admittedly a bit of an old-fashioned idea. You need to be a member to get a decent rate. Camp, grab a secluded comfortable cabin, a motel room, or bring your RV. The resort is open from May through September.

The resort has a large heated swimming pool, conversation pool, hot tub, restaurant, nightclub, and pool bar. Enjoy a game of tennis on their full-size professional courts.

Their activities calendar is jam-packed throughout the summer. DJs and special events of all kinds.

Members can rent lots, or cabins for seasonal stays. There are some year-round homes for those ready to “get away from it all”. Modest rooms provide free Wi-Fi, flat-screen TVs and coffeemakers, as well as minifridges. Cabins add living rooms and kitchenettes.

They have a wide range of facilities from basic camping, to sites with full water and electric service for short-term stays. A dump station is available.

Sunny Rest Resort has got Munchies concession stand, Streakers Poolside Bar, Irv’s Bistro poolside restaurant, Flashers, and deck parties every Friday and Saturday night.

Just north of Philadelphia, a pleasant 2-hour drive from New York, and within driving distance of Washington D.C., Sunny Rest has over 190 acres of rolling hills, partially wooded grounds, and beautiful panoramic views.
