Beaverkill Valley Inn is situated on 60 acres and offers a mile of private fishing on the Upper Beaverkill. It’s a full-service, 19 room historic country inn and a destination for sport and family fun, for corporate retreats, and special celebrations. Visitors from across the world travel to the Beaverkill Valley Inn for adventure-filled days and unforgettable evenings.
It’s by the river where fly-fishing began. You may fly-fish one private mile, just steps from the porch; hike miles of scenic trails; play tennis, swim in the indoor pool, help yourself at the ice-cream parlor; play croquet, enjoy afternoon high tea, pick berries in season, and stroll down the meadow where eagles soar and at night stars are bright.
In the spring and summer, relax in a rocker on the front porch and read a book to the background rush of the river or don your waders and cast for some trout. In autumn, hike through meadows and mountains beneath vibrant foliage, and finish the day with a special farm-to-table, locally-sourced dinner. In winter, skate on their rink or ski miles of trail before Saturday tea.
Choose from a river room where you can hear the gentle sounds of the Beaverkill River rushing over the rocks or a a twin sized room where kids get their own room and parents stay next door in a queen or king room. Select rooms on the third floor that have their own separate private bathroom adjacent to the room, each with an antique clawfoot tub and vintage ceramic tile.
Continental breakfast is included with each stay – come enjoy it in the Inn’s dining room from 8:00-10:00 a.m.
Dining is farm-to-table for the devoted foodies. An organic vegetable garden is steps from the dining room. The kitchen is stocked with spices, ingredients, and fresh produce procured from local farms and suppliers. They use pasture-raised, free range meat. Breads, pastries, and desserts are all baked in-house. For foodies the world over, the Inn has become a destination for delicious, inventive menus featuring the best the Catskills has to offer.
Before we forget, it’s a great place for your wedding!
