Your Callicoon Hills Wedding will take place in an idyllic wedding venue nestled in the heart of Callicoon Center. Perfect for soon-to-be weds who wish to escape the hustle and bustle of city life, this historic hideaway is defined by its eye-catching architecture and peaceful vibe, and there’s room for everyone to stay.
NYC’s Linda and Lucas were interviewed about it here, by New York Magazine. “Callicoon Hills fit our budget, fit everybody on-site, and the food is great. It’s very scenic and it had good vibes.”
The English Haypress Barn was constructed in 1859 and still retains an abundance of details reminiscent of its 19th-century heritage. It has exposed hand-hewn beams, a round chandelier, and large barn doors. The barn is surrounded by 23 acres of farmland, a picturesque area that provides countless photographic opportunities.
After saying “I do”, you can venture into the barn to dance the night away with your friends and relatives. As well as the barn, the venue features a pool, bar, banquet room, and a yoga space.
Callicoon Hills can comfortably accommodate up to 200 of your nearest and dearest. You and your partner are invited to enjoy an entire weekend of marital events here, from your rehearsal to your reception. The barn hosts celebrations from May through October, while the banquet room can provide the backdrop for seated gatherings all year round. As an added touch, food and beverages can be arranged courtesy of the venue’s in-house culinary team.
Wedding events that can be held at this venue include engagement parties, bridal showers, rehearsal dinners, elopements, ceremonies, and receptions. This venue’s staff can assist you with catering, bartending, vendor coordination, accommodation, setup, and cleanup for your wedding. You may make use of get-ready rooms, lighting, tables, chairs, linens, china, flatware, glassware, and barware. The peak season for this resort stretches from May through October.
“My wife and I got married here in early October and it was the best experience we could have asked for. The setting and hotel itself are beautiful and provided a great place for the majority of our guests to stay. The staff is warm and inviting and always willing to help and answer any questions. Beyond that, I cannot express how good the food is. Food at a wedding is usually depressing but this was a true highlight of the weekend. Between the passed apps and the mains (the short rib is ridiculous), we maybe got more comments on JP’s cooking than anything else. If you’re looking for a great inclusive place to have a beautiful and unique wedding this is it. Can’t recommend it highly enough; spend a weekend there and you’ll want to book it ASAP!”
