Treehouse on Lake Wallenpaupack

The Treehouse on Lake Wallenpaupack sleeps 8 in 3 bedrooms with 5 beds and 2.5 bathrooms. It has steps – lots of steps (30 from the driveway to the house) but it also has incredible sunset views over Lake Wallenpaupack. Guests can even bring their boat and dock at the house. Kayaks are also available to use, at no additional cost.

The main level has the dining room, living room, and kitchen on the same level as the deck.

All bedrooms are on the second level, offering beautiful views of the lake. The walk-out lower level offers a family room, game table, futon, and more.

2 fireplaces, one in the living room and one in the downstairs living room.

During the summer months, one-week minimum rentals check in and out on Fridays. Linens are included (sheets, bath towels, comforters, and pillows. Dish soap, toilet paper, paper towels are provided. You should plan to bring laundry detergent, shower soaps, and beach towels.

During the winter months, the path to the lake is not shoveled therefore lake is inaccessible during those months.

“We had a great time at the Treehouse. Views of the Lake from the two large decks, which had more than enough comfortable seats, including a swing and benches were fantastic, as well as the view from the Master bedroom. Wonderful to wake up to that. Utensils and kitchen appliances were in place and easy to get to and operate. Nice open concept on the main floor. For some, it may be a little tough to negotiate the stairs down from the parking to the house and then the hill down to the lake, but that’s why it’s the Treehouse with such sweeping views. We were treated by a swooping bald eagle also. The owner was very receptive.”
