The Wedge is the perfect place to wake up in the trees and spend a weekend with friends. It’s in the gated community The Hideout. Relax in tranquility and scenic beauty from the back deck, around the fire pit, or in the hot tub. Enjoy a dip in one of the community lakes and pools, or a toasty fire by the woodstove on a cold night.
The fully-furnished 3 bedroom cabin accommodates 6 guests in 3 bedrooms with 6 beds and 2 baths. It’s located only 90 miles from Manhattan in the Pocono Lake region. Around the area, you can find skiing, hiking, tubing, waterfalls, state forests, antique stores, farm stands, and local markets.
Inside, the fireplace fills the cabin with coziness and warmth. Features and amenities include ceiling fans, electric baseboard heaters in every room, high-speed Internet/Wi-Fi, projector with Roku, record player with a record collection, board games, fully stocked kitchen, linens and towels, beach towels, lawn chairs, comfortable beds, and modern furniture.
There is a gas grill with outdoor seating on the large deck, and a great fire pit in the back yard.
The community offers some great amenities, from 2 lakes and 2 pools, restaurants, a tiki bar, boat rentals, tennis, volleyball, mini-golf, multiple playgrounds, an ice rink, and a tiny ski hill and lift. There is a gym (located in the north section) with an amazing sauna in the changing room, basketball courts, and a golf course.
You will be given membership passes by the community upon arrival. All guests will be registered with the community, and guests must check-in with The Hideout upon arrival where they will get individual amenities badges and car passes (the community is gated).
“A cool, welcoming, and comforting house in a gated lake community. We enjoyed exploring the area during the day and lighting the fire pit at night. Was just getting chilly enough to use the indoor potbelly as well. The place is furnished in a way that’s cozy, but with modern furnishings. Loved the speakers in every room for the radio and record player. And the big beds had soft, down comforters. All and all it was a fantastic stay in a spacious home for me, my wife, and two little girls. We’ll be back.”
