Jitterbug Sights & Sounds
Jitterbug is a toy store with great stuff, both new and nostalgic. They sell records, games, toys, and art supplies. The entrance is on Pleasant Street.
“Jitterbug will stay open in its current location through Christmas Eve, 2024. Then we will be packing up into storage for a few months while we wait for the much needed renovations to finish. That said…y’all know us. Holla if you need something!! We always gotcha if we can!”
You can buy used and new records, art supplies, games, puzzles, toys, and a little bulk candy for good measure. Husband-and-wife team Miriam and Brad (whom some will recognize from his new-music-focused show NeoNatal Pulse on WJFF Radio Catskill) are curating a wonderland of ‘90s nostalgia. “We really appreciate the DIY interactive method of playing, so we’re not selling pretty much anything electronic,” Miriam tells EB. “We want to encourage people to get back into being more involved with the tangible.”
“Finally, Livingston Manor has a nostalgic wonder emporium. This place is jam packed with an amazing assortment of records, toys, games, art supplies, old fashioned candies and more. Jitterbug is the kind of place where both little ones and their parents can find something fun to take home! And it’s run by the friendliest folks in Sullivan County.”
